September 2023: The first high-impact paper from the group is published in Angewandte Chemie. Congratulations to Suman Maity on his second paper.
September 2023: We welcome Dr. Ronit Sarangi as a postdoc in the lab. Ronit joins us from USC.
August 2023: $$$$ We are awarded the NIGMS R35 MIRA grant. It will support the lab for five years!!!!
April 2023: We welcome Dr. Sasthi Charan Mandal as the first postdoc in the lab.
March 2023: Congratulations to Suman Maity on his first publication from the lab.
January 2023: Phys.org, SU News, and A&S News highlighted our work on coronavirus spike protein.
December 2022: We welcome Suman Maity, the first graduate student to join the group.
November 2022: Our paper on the spike protein is now accepted in Communications Biology.
August 2022: ACompChemLab is inaugurating in Fall 2022 in the Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University. We will also be a part of the BioInspired Institute.
Research Focus
We investigate the role of the native environments in complex (bio)chemical processes using multiscale computational approaches
